XI International Conference "Mathematical Biology and Bioinformatics"
Pushchino, October 12-15, 2026
The conference is held by the Institute for Mathematical Problems of Biology, Russian Academy of Sciences, a branch of the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics, Russian Academy of Sciences, every two years.
Conference papers are published online in the Proceedings of the International Conference "Mathematical Biology and Bioinformatics" (ISSN: 2618-9305), with each article having a DOI. The proceedings are posted in eLIBRARY. Papers may be published in Russian or English, regardless of the language chosen by the participant for their presentation. Each article is reviewed by the ICMBB Organizing Committee. Based on the results of this review, a decision is made on whether the paper will be accepted for the conference and whether the article will be included in the proceedings.
The conference organizing committee will select papers, and authors will be offered the opportunity to publish their papers in the journal "Mathematical Biology and Bioinformatics."
The main goal of this scientific forum is to discuss the latest advances in mathematical modeling and information technology. The conference presents research results on biological systems of various scales, from nanostructures to complex macrosystems, in bioinformatics, molecular and structural biology, biophysics, biomedicine, biopharmacology, nanobiotechnology, and other fields. Of particular interest is modern methods for intelligent analysis of big biological data, including the use of artificial intelligence and deep learning neural networks.
The conference covers the following topics:
High-performance computing in modeling biological systems;
Mathematical modeling in immunology and epidemiology;
Mathematical modeling of biopolymer structure and dynamics;
Mathematical modeling of nanobioelectronic systems;
Mathematical modeling of gene and metabolic networks;
Mathematical models of information processing in brain structures;
Models of evolution and development in biology;
Population modeling and computational ecology;
Mathematical biophysics;
Mathematical methods of data processing and analysis in biology, bioinformatics, and biomedicine;
Artificial intelligence and pattern recognition;
Image and signal analysis methods.
The conference is held with the technical support of IntraBio LLC (Pushchino).
Abstracts can be submitted until September 15, 2026, by registering in your personal account.
Questions for the organizing committee can be sent by email to icmbb@psn.ru.
The conference is an interdisciplinary scientific forum for discussing issues of mathematical modelling and information technology. It presents the results of the mathematical description of biological systems related to bioinformatics, molecular and structural biology, biophysics, biomedicine, pharmacology, nanobiotechnology, as well as digital terrain analysis and computational ecology. The conference is held every two years.
